Opening the play designer from a link
Hand a coach a URL and the designer opens with the work already started. These four parameters are supported and will keep working.
The parameters
?prompt=Free text, URL-encoded. A play described the way a coach would say it.
The designer opens and the AI draws the play on mount, with no further clicks.
Spends one of the coach's monthly AI actions, and the AI re-interprets the words, so the result is a play matching the description rather than one specific diagram. Prefer
cataloguewhen you mean a play that already exists.?format=5v5, 5v5 NFL Flag, 6v6, 7v7, 8v8, 9v9, 11v11
The canvas opens in that game format, on that format's field.
Ignored when the link also carries
catalogue, because a seeded play brings its own format and drawing a 5v5 play on an 11v11 field would be wrong.?side=offense, defense
Which side of the ball the designer opens on.
?catalogue=<format>/<concept>, where format is one of 5v5, 6v6, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11, nfl-flag
Opens the exact diagram shown on the matching play page. Resolved from code, so what was clicked is what opens.
Spends no AI action and needs no account. This is the right parameter for an agent that wants to show a coach a specific, known play.
An example
This opens the 5v5 mesh concept on the offensive side, drawing the exact diagram from its play page:
https://rc-football.com/designer?catalogue=5v5%2Fmesh&side=offense
Every published play page carries its own designer link, and the slug in the URL is the one to use. The full list of pages is in llms.txt.
What these links do not need
- No account. A coach can open any of these links signed out and draw on the canvas. Saving the play is what needs a free account.
- No API key. These are ordinary URLs.
- No AI action, except for
?prompt=, which spends one because it asks the model to draw something new.?catalogue=opens a play that already exists and spends nothing.
Reading the site as markdown
Every mirrored page on this site also answers at .md. For example rc-football.com/plays/5v5/mesh.md returns the same coaching as plain markdown, with the diagram described in words. Sending Accept: text/markdown to the normal URL does the same thing.
The index of the site is at llms.txt, and the full text of every mirrored page in one file is at llms-full.txt.
