- Open wheel shuffleOne on one with the coach. Backpedal, then side step whichever way he points, then turn and run for a long ball.8 min
- Zone pass defendGroups of four: a thrower, two receivers and one defender in the middle. Read the eyes and break on the throw.10 min
- Crazy corralOne runner in a fifteen yard box against three defenders. All three work together and nobody goes alone.8 min
- Last flag standingA ten by ten square with everybody inside it. Pull flags, keep your own, and hold on to every flag you take.8 min
- Ultimate footballTwo teams. Move down the field by throwing and catching only, with no running once you have it. A drop or a pick turns it over.12 min
- Snap, toss, tuckCentre, quarterback and runner. The snap goes back, the ball goes across, and the runner tucks it before he runs.8 min
- Freeze tagTwo taggers, everybody else in belts inside a marked square. Lose a flag and you freeze until a team mate touches your shoulder.8 min

Run it from your pocket
Build the plan at the kitchen table, then open it on the field. The clock runs the blocks, the whistle goes ten seconds before every change and again when it is time to switch, and +2 min is there because practice never runs to schedule.
Take one as written
Six sessions built and timed already. Pick the length you have and the age you coach.
- Your first practice60 min · ages 5-8 · 6 blocks. Nobody has met. Half of them have never held a ball.
